One Foggy and Cold Morning

 

Time to walk, so I venture this morning to the Cowboy Trail, about 2.0 miles round trip plus it would be a bit far as I sometimes walk back to see what I should capture. I did spend an hour and fifteen minutes, I usually take my time to compose as compare if I walk with Pokie.

The forecast says today will be a dry day and just cloudy, so we set to go to clean the mess, I rake and Pokie uses the blower.

I ventured on a rainy day to get the ivy and possibly the end of Autumn 2020 season. I parked my car at Canfiled Place Retirement Homes and started from there.

I thought I am done with autumn colors, but today I wanted to take ivy that I have been eyeing for sometimes, it is still raining lightly, but when I pass by this cul-de-sac, I could not go any further, I park my car and start taking pictures as I describe how and why I take the pictures, sort of my journal.

At first thought I wanted to walk to Safeway and Pokie will pick me up, so at least I walk a mile, but as I photograph the leaves on the ground, I called Pokie and I just walked around the block.

On a rainy day I ventured to the Griffith Park! Yes, Beaverton has Griffith Park, but the most famous one is in Los Angeles. This is the most extensive of fall collection so far.

The Matrix Hill - revisited

Bob Honson suggested earlier when I sent him The Matrix - Autumn from above. What a difference 10 days make. The colors have been exploding and that day was the last day before the rain brings down the leaves.

I need to walk and check the autumn colors before the rain destroys it. In Indonesian dialect there is a saying "POKOK E MLAKU" which translate simply JUST WALK and ENJOY.
