 One foggy morning after breakfast and a hot shower, I ventured outside again to seek fall colors that is elusive this year. I park my car in the Murrayhill Recreation Center and start walking from there. Here is the result.

SW Brockman St - Autumn #4

 

When it was a little cloudy, I decided to take as much images as I can, cloudy days are my favorite time to take autumn colors as I do not have to deal with shadows.

Matrix Hill - Autumn from above the sky

It's a cold day (48 Fahrenheit) but we decide to climb Matrix Hill and go to the supermarket to pick up some cucumbers at Walmart.

Hoyt Arboretum - Autumn

 

I made a suggestion to go to Hoyt Arboretum as I went in the past, and I thought that it has just one trail. I was wrong big time and parking is now at $2.00 per hour. So we decided just try for two hours and it closes to lunch hour. We spent about 2.5 hours and I feel happy that we can enjoy some colors, although it has not frost yet.

Buena Vista Ferry

 

We started early to cross with this ferry, about 60 miles from home, Pokie drove first since it is not easy to get here for the first time. This concludes the last ferry in Oregon. We are home before 1:00 PM.

I always watch this street as I pass by around this time of year. Yeah, it is time! So when Pokie needs to go to the market, I just walked through the back way and I quickly explore and take pictures with my iPhone. I have become an iPhone photographer now.

I think I have become iPhone photographer, I ditch my mirrorless camera for the convenience of an iPhone. It is always in my pocket when I walk plus it has a built in HDR (High Dynamic Range) built in.

Wheatland Ferry

 

After eating at In N Out burger and walking at Woodburn Outlet Mall, I surprised Pokie for a side trip to see this Wheatland Ferry. For vehicle under 22 feet is only $2.00, this is still very reasonable, compare that with Canby Ferry for $5.00 per vehicle.

Cape Meares Lighthouse etc

 

Since we can not go overseas (hint: Japan), we have just exploring our own backyard, this time we go to the coast again to Cape Meares lighthouse, Oceanside Beach and Cape Lookout. I am also comparing the iPhone 11 images versus Sony mirrorless camera.
