Vancouver Waterfront, Washington, USA

Grant Street Pier
When I heard today is going to be so warm, I made a plan last night to visit Vancouver Waterfront, it is only 20 miles, so we go after the morning rush hour and go home before everybody uses the freeway in the afternoon. We had lunch at WildFin restaurant and it was good.

iPhone images

Old and New
I will add as I take pictures with my iPhone, I just like the images that it can capture because "the camera" is always in my pocket.

Azalea

Red Carpet
We miss to see this for many years now, finally we came this afternoon at the right time, no rain is a bonus, but when the sun is out, it creates too many unwanted shadow. Enjoy the "red carpet" in the spring. Happy Easter 2019.

Fort Vancouver - by iPhone 6S

Fort Vancouver

Fort Vancouver (reconstruction)
Sometimes we tend to ignore National Park that is so close (just 13 miles from home), so that day we decided to drive to Washington State and explore the site. This complex is so vast that we might have to come back again some other day.

Kubota Garden, Seattle

Kubota Garden, early Spring 2018
These images lay dormant in my iPhone for a little more than a year, we were busy at that time for the preparation to go to Holland and Paris. When I look back on the images I realize that I have not made a website for it. I did not bring my mirrorless camera at that time since we were just walking around, it turned out this is one of the nicest Japanese garden in the Northwest.

Cherry Blossoms 2019
This morning I turned in my application for my retirement PERS, to celebrate that we went home and get the camera charged and we venture the neighborhood for cherry blossoms viewing or HANAMI in Japanese. Enjoy
