Seattle area

 

Every time we visit Seattle area, our nephew and niece try to take us to a different places that they visited, this time we go to Kirkland (Marina Park), Alki Beach (west of Seattle) and Luther Burbank park in Mercer Inland.

A hidden gem, many people just stay in the town of Leavenworth, but we venture around town to get a different view and exercise.

Chelan, Washington

 

I always wanted to go to Chelan, my previous co-worker was born and raised in this town. It has become the playground of the "rich" from Seattle area, many have vacation homes in this part of the valley, which has good weather  to grow fruits and grapes for wine. Next visit, we like to take the boat to Stehekin by ferry.

Bavarian Town - Leavenworth

 

Pokie wanted to see Leavenworth after so many years since we last visited. So I set a date from September 12th to September 16th. The unfortunate thing was there was a fire about 45 miles west from Leavenworth, the result is smoky at best, we see blue skies toward the end of our vacation. O well....
