It has been awhile since I wanted to visit this garden, now that we are both vaccinated, it's time to venture out and travel again, we like this garden so much, I decided that we become members for one full year.

OHSU - An Urban Jungle

 

The Marquam Hill Tram - Upper Terminal

This is the day, Pokie got her second vaccination at OHSU campus, much better location than in Oregon Convention Center. While Pokie is at the clinic, I explored this "urban jungle" and taking some photographs.

Azalea 2021

 

This time, I am on time for the Azalea full bloom, it was sunnier earlier, but luckily by the time I got here the light is diffused and soft evenly, full sun and read do not mix together.

Rowena Crest and along I-84

 

Columbia River

After a visit to Grace Su's China Gorge, we decided to venture to Panorama Point, but Mount Hood was shrouded by clouds, so we decided to go to Rowena Crest and on the way back stopped at Sugar Pine in Troutdale (the Strawberry-Coconut soft serve is to die for).

Oregon State Capitol

 

We decided to venture locally knowing that we have a little protection now, I better take these pictures before the wind blow all the cherry blossoms, believe it or not, we are late for about one week. We also walked to Riverfront and see the Giant Globe, too bad the carousel was closed.

Sakura 2021

 

This is my annual pilgrimage to this spot which says Spring is here, it was a bit cloudy which is to my delight to take pictures - no harsh shadows. This time the trees are matured thus bringing good canopy.
