Autumn Leaves as an Art

This October is really unusually warm and dry. I still can wear my shorts in the afternoon. Today while Pokie is doing a laundry at a laundromat for comforter, I took a walk along Murray Boulevard close by and get all these images with my iPhone 6S. The result is nothing less than amazing.

I continue taking Autumn colors, soon it will end because the forecast next week is going to rain, rain and more rain. This October has been dry and warm, very unusual for our October in Pacific Northwest. So enjoy the sight before the rain takes it down.

Lunch time for the monks

We drove to Turner (Salem) on Sunday morning amidst the heavy rain, but when we got there the rain stopped, what a treat. This is the biggest event on a yearly basis, usually on the second or third weekend of September.

Coastal Classic

Seward Station

On exactly June 21st or Summer Solstice (the longest daylight) we rode the Coastal Classic to Seward and back that evening, we never experienced darkness during this trip at all. This is the most memorable train trip to date.

Well, these snapshot web has a lot to do with Alaska Railroad and Seward, since we visited there in 2006, I attempt to make the same photograph in the same location. I was photobombed while Pokie was taking my picture at the old Seward Station.
