Today, we took our nephew and his wife to the college that he went almost 18 years ago, there was an International Event in the school for foods and performance. I chose to walk around the campus and test my new lens. Here's the result.

Farm House, December 25th, 2016

When I got a smart phone, it just means one think, I have a new toy - the camera. Below are some samples I took since October 2016. I am amazed with the quality of this tiny camera.

Fanno Creek Greenway

After a seemingly endless snow and ice, I decided to walk on this trail accompany by my good friend Rod who picked me up on a cold but sunny Saturday. I think I walked about 1.8 miles round-trip.

1880 Train

1880 Train

This is the last of the place that we visited, the 1880 Train from Hill City to Key Stone, it has the steepest climb from the many train ride that I experienced. It was indeed a nice ride to close the journey.

Mount Rushmore

This is the second time we visited this park, the first being in 1982, what a change from 23 years ago. The avenue of the flags was new and did not exist way back then. We also very fortunate to meet the original Rushmore worker.

Crazy Horse - S. Dakota

Crazy Horse - South Dakota

This is the second attraction after the Devils Tower National Monument, it is located in the Black Hills area of South Dakota. This monument might not be finished in my life time. I believe the financing is through private donation only.
