Bethany Lake Park

Inside Bethany Lake Park

I am exploring the surrounding area, today I found Bethany Lake Park. The lighting was soft and perfect, it drizzled at the end but for a very short time.

Colorado Trip - 2004

Above Aspen

I am bored and I have to do something. There is nothing better than to relive our 2004 Colorado trip. At that time I did not have digital camera, it was still cost prohibitive. So, all the images here are from Kodak films, digitized by Costco. I would say NOT BAD for these qualities.

Royal Gorge Route - 2004

Royal Gorge Bridge

This is the third of railroad theme from our 2004 trip to Colorado, one too many if you ask Pokie, but this is spectacular to say the least. The bridge was constructed in 1929 and it is 955 feet from the river down below. It held a record of being the highest bridge in the world from 1929 to 2001.

Alaska Cruise (revisited)

Glaciers

This is our 2005 Cruise with Holland America Line, it starts from Vancouver BC for a week, we had a blast but the feeling is "I have seen Alaska, but I have never been to Alaska" so in 2006 we drove to Alaska.

Promontory, Utah (revisited from 2004 trip)

The reenactment of May 10th, 1869

I love train, there's not doubt about it, maybe I was a train engineer in my previous life. This is the transcontinental railroad, for the first time in US History, you can go from east to west.
