Mount Angel Abbey

This abbey is very peaceful, we like picnicking here, today the view is gorgeous and I could not ask for a better lighting.

E. Z. Orchards

This is a neat farm market, we found a new treat - Strawberry Shortcakes. This is the second time we came here, famous for the apple cider donuts.

Bauman Farms

Cloudy days and not raining are my favorite time to take photographs without worrying about the shadows and the images come as intended. Here, you can see the explosion of colors of the flowers.

Strawberry Moon

These are 3 days worth of sleepless nights, every time I need to go to the bathroom, I grab my iPhone to record the full moon. I have to search why it is called Strawberry Moon.

Orenco Station and Central Park

While waiting for Pokie at Providence Express Care, I took a walk and discover this cute park. The lighting is just perfect that evening, with occasional sun peeking through thick clouds.

HR - Shoreline Path

We planned to go to Cannon Beach for sandcastles competition, but the threat of 45 percent chance of rain did not suit my idea of going to the beach. Instead we took up an invitation from Steve and Helen Tan to see them in Hood River.

Astoria Column

We came here 30 years ago in 1994, I did not have any recollection if we went up or not, this time we did, all 164 steps, we had to stop a few times to catch our breath. We flew a small glider, we found one or it costs $1.00 at the gift shop.

Picnic at Champoeg State Park

I read that the admission fee is waived for June 1st, I think is to celebrate State Park of Oregon. So, we made a plan last week to come here and have a picnic, Yes, just the two of us. Me made tuna sandwiches, and bring all kind of goodies. The rest is history. Pokie voted the best state park in Oregon.
